CAUTION
Handle glow plugs with care to avoid damage.
1. Install six new glow plugs (Figure 2, Item 6) on cylinder head (Figure 2, Item 5). Tighten nuts to 132 lb-in.
(15 Nm).
2. Install bus bar (Figure 2, Item 1) on glow plugs (Figure 2, Item 6).
3. Install six nuts (Figure 2, Item 2) to secure bus bar (Figure 2, Item 1) on six glow plugs (Figure 2, Item 6).
4. Connect engine control harness connector (Figure 2, Item 7) on injector 1 and 2 harness connector
(Figure 2, Item 8).
5. Install cable (Figure 2, Item 4) and nut (Figure 2, Item 3) on bus bar (Figure 2, Item 1).
NOTE
Route cables as noted during removal.
Install cable terminals as noted during removal.
6. Install two cable terminals (Figure 3, Items 2 and 3) and nut (Figure 3, Item 1) on stud (Figure 3, Item 4).
