NOTE
Note position, size, and length of all flywheel housing bolts to aid in installation.
1. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 1), cover (Figure 1, Item 2), and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 3) from flywheel hous-
ing (Figure 1, Item 4). Discard O-ring.
2. Remove 19 bolts (Figure 1, Item 5) from flywheel housing (Figure 1, Item 4).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to
personnel.
NOTE
Flywheel housing weighs 80 lb (36 kg).
3. With assistance, remove flywheel housing (Figure 1, Item 4) from engine.

1. Remove plastic threaded plug (Figure 2, Item 5) from flywheel housing (Figure 2, Item 1).
2. Remove pipe plug (Figure 2, Item 4) from flywheel housing (Figure 2, Item 1).
3. Remove two plugs (Figure 2, Item 2) and O-rings (Figure 2, Item 3) from flywheel housing (Figure 2, Item 1).
Discard O-rings.
