REMOVAL CONTINUED
4. Remove locknut (Figure 4, Item 2) from tie rod ball joint (Figure 4, Item 1). Discard locknut.

5. Use pitman arm puller to separate tie rod ball joint (Figure 5, Item 4) from knuckle (Figure 5, Item 5).
6. Remove outer tie rod end (Figure 5, Item 3) from inner tie rod end (Figure 5, Item 2).
7. Use steering piston tool (Figure 5, Item 6) to hold cylinder shaft (Figure 5, Item 1) and remove inner tie rod
(Figure 5, Item 2) from cylinder shaft.
