NOTE
Install lines as tagged and marked during removal.
Remove plugs and caps from hoses and fittings.
1. Attach lifting device (Figure 6, Item 1) and sling (Figure 6, Item 2) to support backhoe dipper cylinder
(Figure 6, Item 3).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Backhoe dipper cylinder weighs 165 lb (75 kg).
2. Lightly grease two pins (Figure 6, Item 4).
3. With lifting device, install backhoe dipper cylinder (Figure 6, Item 3) and two pins (Figure 6, Item 4) on
machine.
4. Remove sling (Figure 6, Item 2) and lifting device (Figure 6, Item 1) from backhoe dipper cylinder
(Figure 6, Item 3).
