ADJUSTMENT CONTINUED
5. Raise FEL and engage safety support strut (TM 5-2420-231-10).
6. Roll FEL bucket back fully (TM 5-2420-231-10).
NOTE
Side cutting edge of bucket must be level with ground.
7. If side cutting edge (Figure 33, Item 6) is not level with ground, loosen nut (Figure 33, Item 3) from clevis
(Figure 33, Item 4).
8. Rotate rollback cable (Figure 33, Item 2) until rollback cable is 27.64 in. (702 mm) in length measured from pin
(Figure 33, Item 1) to pin (Figure 33, Item 5).
9. Roll FEL bucket back fully (TM 5-2420-231-10) and check level of the side cutting edge (Figure 33, Item 6).
a. If FEL bucket is tilted forward, lengthen the cable.
b. If FEL bucket is tilted rearward, shorten the cable.
10. Repeat step 9 until FEL bucket side cutting edge (Figure 33, Item 6) is level to ground.
11. Tighten nut (Figure 33, Item 3) on clevis (Figure 33, Item 4).
