NOTE
Install lines as tagged and marked during removal.
Remove plugs and caps from hoses and fittings.
1. Attach slings (Figure 4, Item 1) and lifting device to tool quick-coupler (Figure 4, Item 9).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Tool quick-coupler weighs 250 lb (115 kg).
2. Using lifting device, position tool quick-coupler (Figure 4, Item 9) on machine.
NOTE
Pin installation is the same for both left-hand and right-hand sides. Left-hand side is
shown.
3. Lightly grease and install pin (Figure 4, Item 6) and two retaining rings (Figure 4, Item 7) on tool quick-coupler
(Figure 4, Item 9).
4. Position pitman arm (Figure 4, Item 2) on machine.
5. Lightly grease pin (Figure 4, Item 8).
6. Install washers (Figure 4, Item 3), pin (Figure 4, Item 8), washers (Figure 4, Item 5), and two retaining rings
(Figure 4, Item 4) on pitman arm (Figure 4, Item 2).
7. Remove lifting device and sling (Figure 4, Item 1) from tool quick-coupler (Figure 4, Item 9).
