REMOVAL CONTINUED
NOTE
The procedure for pin removal and replacement is identical for left-hand and right-hand
pins. Left-hand pin is shown in this procedure.
Note position and quantity of washers to aid in installation.
7. Remove two retaining rings (Figure 3, Item 4), washers (Figure 3, Item 5), pin (Figure 3, Item 8), and washers
(Figure 3, Item 3) from pitman arm (Figure 3, Item 2). Position pitman arm aside.
8. Remove two retaining rings (Figure 3, Item 7) and pin (Figure 3, Item 6) from tool quick-coupler
(Figure 3, Item 9).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Tool quick-coupler weighs 250 lb (115 kg).
9. Using lifting device, remove tool quick-coupler (Figure 3, Item 9) from machine and lower onto a flat surface.
