1. Start machine and raise FEL (TM 5-2420-231-10).
2. Position trestle (Figure 1, Item 1) under FEL as shown.
3. Lower FEL onto trestle and shut off machine (TM 5-2420-231-10).
4. Remove three bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 3), washers (Figure 1, Item 4), and cover
(Figure 1, Item 5) from FEL. Discard lockwashers.

5. Remove two plugs (Figure 2, Item 1) from hydraulic coupler (Figure 2, Item 2).
