1. Start machine and raise front end loader (FEL) (TM 5-2420-231-10).
2. Position trestle (Figure 1, Item 1) under FEL as shown.
3. Lower FEL onto trestle and shut off machine (TM 5-2420-231-10).
4. Remove three bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), lockwashers (Figure 1, Item 3), washers (Figure 1, Item 4), and cover
(Figure 1, Item 5) from FEL. Discard lockwashers.

5. Disconnect two hoses (Figure 2, Item 3) from fittings (Figure 2, Item 1).
NOTE
Note position of fittings to aid in installation.
6. Remove two nuts (Figure 2, Item 2) from fittings (Figure 2, Item 1).
