TM 5-3805-258-24-1FUEL SYSTEMGOVERNOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT(Models 950BNSCE and 950BSCE)TESTING AND ADJUSTING1.2.3.4.5.Remove cover (1) and gasket (2).Disconnect governor cable (3) from lever (4).Remove lever from governor shaft.Make sure governor shaft is in the OFF posi-tion by turning shaft clockwise against stop.Install lever on shaft approximately 35° for-ward from vertical.Adjust cable length by turning nuts (5). Holein cable rod end must be 7-10 mm (0.28 -0.40 in.) in front of hole in lever. Tighten nutsto 38 ± 15 N·m (28 ± 11 lb. ft.).6.7.8.Pull cable to the rear and install washer (6)and screw (7).Move lever counterclockwise to high idleposition.While lever is in high idle position, adjust stopscrew (8) until it just touches pedal lever.Tighten lock nut.4-26
