6. Install cable in yoke end (7) so that distance (B)
is 9.0 mm (.35 in.).
7. Install bracket (5) on threads (15) so distance
(C) will be 17.0 mm (.67 in.) after seal (9),
washer (13) and nut (14) are installed.
8. Put speed selection spool (10) in the FIRST
SPEED Position.

Fasten bracket (5) to transmission case with
bolts (6) and washers.
Put transmission selector lever in the FIRST
SPEED position.
Make an adjustment to bolt (2), so that distance
(A) is 90.0 mm (3.54 in.).
Tighten nut (3) to hold bolt (2) in place.
Make an adjustment to the plastic collar on the
transmission selector lever, so that the arrow
points to FIRST SPEED.
