Replace an item if inspection indicates need for replacement.
(6) Inspect clutch plates (2 and 3) for burrs, embedded metal particles, se-
verely pitted faces, excessive wear, cracks, distortion, or damaged
spline teeth.
(7) Inspect forward clutch piston (7) and forward clutch piston housing (12)
for cracks or distortion.

Inspect remaining parts for cracks, distortion, or thread damage.
