Pump housingCLEANINGDry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilatedarea. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and don’t breathevapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and don’t smokewhen using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you be-come dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medicalattention immediately. If contact with skin or clothes is made, flushwith large amounts of water. If contact with eyes is made, wash eyeswith water and get medical aid immediately.Compressed air used for cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 psi. Useonly with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment(goggles/shield, gloves, etc). Failure to do so could cause seriousinjury to eyes and possible blindness.If you hurt your eyes or if aforeign object is blown into your eyes, seek medical attentionimmediately.(1) Clean all parts using cleaning solvent P-D-680. Dry using compressed air.(2) Clean all gasket (2) material from cover (1) and pump housing (9) usingputty knife to scrape material off cover and housing. Use clean clothmoistened with cleaning solvent P-D-680 to remove remaining traces ofgasket material from these parts. Dry using clean cloths.(3) Use compressed air to clear pump housing (9) recesses of foreign matter.4-215
