Using suitable sizesleeve bearing on outer circumferenceof oil seal, press oil seal intohousing until seal is even with topsurface of housing.If removed, press new dowel pin (7)into pump housing (9) until dowel pinprotrudes 0.41 to 0.43 inch abovepump housing surface.Install driven gear (4) with bearings(5) on shaft (6) in pump housing (9).Install drive gear (3) in pump housing (9).Install new gasket (2) and cover (1). Use charging pump mounting cap-screws as guides to aline pump housing (9), gasket (2), and cover (1).Install charging pump (page 3-345).4-217
