Position new gasket (20) and flange (19) on cylinder block.
Install and tighten two lock washers (18) and capscrews (17).
Install and tighten elbow (16).
Slide clamp (14) over end of hose (15), push hose (15) onto elbow (16),
and tighten clamp (14).
Install and tighten bushing (13) in water pump.
Install and tighten elbow (12) in bushing (13).
Slide clamp (10) over end of hose (11), push hose (11) onto elbow (12),
and tighten clamp (10).
Install two clips (9) using capscrew (7) and lock washer (8).
Install and tighten drain valve (l).
Lubricate two new O-rings (6) using oil-soluble grease and install in oil
cooler assembly.
Position oil cooler assembly on engine block, and position ground cable
(5) at mounting hole noted during removal.
Install two washers (4) and capscrews (3). Tighten capscrews (3) to 80 to
96 lb-ft.
Slide one clamp (2) over free end of each hose (11 and 15), push hoses
(11 and 15) onto oil cooler assembly, and tighten clamps (2).
Install engine oil filter (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Install engine oil (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Install coolant in radiator (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Start engine and check for oil or coolant leaks. Tighten clamps (2, 10,
and 14) if leakage is observed at hose (11 and 15) connections.
