DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 3 OF 8)
(13) Remove end plate with camshaft and bearings as an assembly:
(a) Gently tap governor end of camshaft using a plastic mallet to loosen end
plate. If necessary, use mechanical puller and yoke with slide hammer.
(b) Carefully pull end plate with camshaft from housing. Be sure intermedi-
ate bearing is removed with camshaft.
(14) Using hammer and socket wrench as shown, drive six tappet plugs (27) into
camshaft compartment of housing. Reach into camshaft compartment and re-
move tappet plugs. Discard tappet plugs.
