(22) Remove key (59) from camshaft keyway.
(23) Remove and discard gasket (60) .
NOTE
Perform following steps only if inspection indicates need for replace-
ment of parts.
(24) Install seal protection sleeve on end
of camshaft to protect end plate (61)
oil seal. Press end plate from
camshaft using mechanical puller kit,
then remove seal protection sleeve
from camshaft.
(25) Remove plug (62) using plug tool.
Remove cap nut (63).
