Retaining ring pliers
Safety glasses
Screwdriver
Combination box and open end wrench set
Socket wrench set, 3/8 inch drive
Cylinder hone
Vise
Hydraulic press
Rod
MATERIALS/PARTS: Clean cloths (Appendix C, item 1)
Cleaning solvent P-D-680 (Appendix C, item 2)
Brake fluid (Appendix C, item 19)
Paint (Appendix C, item 22)
Hydraulic brake cylinder repair kit (FSCM 92865 PN 02-001-122)

NOTE
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Brake actuators removed from loader (refer to TM
5-3805-262-20).
DISASSEMBLY
(1)
Put brake chamber bracket
in vise as shown.
(2)
Loosen and remove two nuts
and lock washers.
(3) Hold air chamber in place
and remove hydraulic brake
cylinder.
(4)
Remove air chamber from
bracket.
(5) Remove bracket from vise.
DISASSEMBLY OF HYDRAULIC BRAKE
CYLINDER (SHEET 1 OF 2)
(1) Put hydraulic brake cylin-
der in vise.
(2) Remove guide (1) from boot (2).
(3) Remove boot (2).
