REASSEMBLY (SHEET 2 OF 3)
(l) Install stop (15) and exhaust valve (16)
in cylinder head (14). Tighten stop to 70
to 90 lb-ft. Use 9/16 inch hexagon rod and
socket wrench.
(m) Repeat steps (k) and (1) above for remaining exhaust valve (16) and stop
(15). Remove cylinder head assembly (14 thru 26) from vise.
(n) Install new gasket (27) on cylinder block.
(o) Install cylinder head assembly (14 thru 26) on cylinder block.
(p) Install capscrew (12) and five
capscrews (13) and tighten to
125 to 160 lb-in. in sequence
shown. Then tighten capscrews
to 15 to 20 lb-ft in same se-
quence.
(q) Install two new springs (11)
and plungers (10) in cylinder
head (14) bores.
