Be sure capscrew hole inpin is alined with hole in chassisbracket.Drive pin into position to secure rodend of steering cylinder assembly.Install capscrew and lock nut. Tight-en lock nut securely.Lubricate two lubrication fittings onsteering cylinder assembly (refer toLO 5-3805-262-12).Repeat steps (6) through (12) tocomplete installation of remainingsteering cylinder assembly.Check hydraulic reservoir oil level. Add oilif level is low (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).Disengage transport/service link (refer to TM 5-3805-262-10).Start engine and operate at idle speed. Turn steering wheel all the wayright then left several times to remove air from steering cylinder assem-blies. Turn off engine.Check for hydraulic oil leakage at hose connections to steering cylinderassemblies. Tighten connections as necessary.3-565
