This task covers removal, cleaning, inspection, and in-
stallation of noise reduction pads.

Hand hammer, 16 ounces
Screwdriver
MATERIALS/PARTS: Clean cloths (Appendix C, item 1)
Cleaning solvent P-D-680 (Appendix C, item 2)
Adhesive (Appendix C, item 36)

NOTE
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE:
Operators seat removed (refer to TM
5-3805-262-20).
REMOVAL
(1) Remove foam pads (1 thru 9) from cab: carefully peel foam pads from
mounting surfaces.
(2) Remove plugs securing headliners (10 thru 12) to cab ceiling: pry plugs
out using screwdriver.
(3) Remove headliners (10 thru 12): carefully peel headliners from cab ceil-
ing.
