This task covers removal, cleaning, inspection> and instal-
lation of cab latch assemblies.

REMOVAL (SHEET 1
wrench set, 3/8 inch drive
Clean cloths (Appendix C, item 1)
Cleaning solvent P-D-680 (Appendix C, item 2)

LEGEND
Remove screw (1), nut (2), lock washer (3), and rubber cushion (4) from
latch (10).
Remove two nuts (5) from cab wall studs.
Remove capscrew (6) and nut
bracket (8), if necessary.
Slide bracket (8) off latch
Remove seal (9).
(7) from latch (10), pulling back slightly on
(10) and remove.
Unhook spring (11) from latch (10) and remove latch.
Unhook other end of spring (11) and remove spring.
