Loosen capscrew (34) and pull bottom latch arm (35) from outside handle
(40) shaft. Then, pull bottom latch arm (35) from latch pull rod (36).
Remove latch pull rod (36) from latch bracket (48).
Remove two screws (37), nuts (38), and lock washers (39); remove outside
handle (40).
Remove four screws (42) and remove door latch (43) and assembled parts
(44 thru 52).
Remove capscrew (44), nut (45), lockwasher (46), and washer (47). Remove
latch bracket (48).
Loosen capscrew (49) and pull top latch arm (50) from door latch shaft
(52).
Remove spacer (51) and door latch shaft (52).
NOTE
Do not perform steps (3) and (4) below unless inspection indicates need
for replacement of door striker (54) or mounting bracket (59).
(3) Remove nut (53) and door striker (54).
(4)
Remove two capscrews (55), nuts (56), lock washers (57), and washers
(58). Remove mounting bracket (59) and shim (60).
