REASSEMBLY
a.
If removed, install two new bushings (13) in bracket (14) with chamfer in-
ward. Install bushings until flush with large diameter surface of bracket
using hammer and one inch diameter rod or sleeve.
b.
Put collar (10) and spring (11) on control shaft (9), with loop of spring on
pin welded to collar.
c.
Insert control shaft (9) through bracket (14) bushings (13).
d.
Slide collar (7) on control shaft (9).
e.
Put washer (4) and control lever (3) on control shaft (9) with control lever
match mark alined with bracket (14) match mark.
f.
Aline match marks on control shaft (9) and bracket (14). Install and tighten
washer (2) and lock nut (1) on control shaft threads.
g.
Push control lever (3) toward bracket (14) as far as it will go and tighten
setscrew (6).
h.
Put spacer (12) on pin welded to collar (10). Hook end of spring (11) on
cutout portion of bracket (14). Push collar against spring to compress
spring against bracket and tighten setscrew (8).
i.
If removed, install knob (5) on control lever (3).
