Failure to do so could cause blindness.Wear insulated gloves when removing parts in following steps. Failure todo so could cause you to seriously burn your hands when removing theseparts. If you are burned obtain medical aid immediately.(4)(5)(6)(7)Using an acetylene torch, heat retaining ring (3). Wear insulated glovesand remove retaining ring using snap ring pliers.Remove thrust washer (4), two shims (5), and O-ring (6). Discard O-ring.Using 2-3/4 inches diameter rod and hammer, remove pin (7) by drivingoutward from cab interior. Remove thrust washer (8).Repeat steps (2) through (6) above to remove parts securing opposite sideof bucket lift arms to front chassis.Before performing following step, check and ensure that all disconnectedhoses, lines, and fittings are capped or plugged. Failure to do so couldcause hydraulic oil to flow from disconnected hoses, lines, and fittingsif you inadvertently operate hydraulic control levers.(8)Start engine and slowly back loader away from bucket lift arms. Turnengine off.(9) Lower bucket lift arms to ground and disconnect chain hoist.3-764
