BucketLiftArms(Cont).DISASSEMBLY (SHEET 2 OF 2)NOTEDon’t perform following steps unless inspection indicates bushings (27thru 31) require replacement.(15) Using hammer and 2-3/8 inches diameter rod, remove four bushings (27) bydriving from lift arm (26).(16) Using hammer and 2-3/4 inches diameter rod, remove two bushings (28) bydriving from lift arm (26).(17) Using hammer and 3-1/4 inches diameter rod, remove two bushings (29) bydriving from lift arm (26).(18) Remove two outer bushings (30) using a hammer and drive pin punch bearingon perimeter of bushings. Drive bushings outward evenly to remove.(19) Remove two inner bushings (31) using a hammer and drive pin punch bearingon perimeter of bushings. Drive bushings inward evenly into cab to re-move.CLEANINGDry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is toxic and flammable.Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilatedarea. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes and don’t breathevapors. Do not use near open flame or excessive heat and don’t smokewhen using it. Failure to do so could cause serious injury. If you be-come dizzy while using cleaning solvent, get fresh air and medicalattention immediately.If contact with skin or clothes is made, flushwith large amounts of water.If contact with eyes is made, wash eyeswith water and get medical aid immediately.(1)Clean all metal parts using cleaning solvent P-D-680. Dry using cleancloths.Compressed air used for cleaning purposes will not exceed 30 psi. Useonly with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment(goggles/shield, gloves, etc). Failure to do so could cause seriousinjury to eyes and possible blindness.If you hurt your eyes or if aforeign object is blown into your eyes, seek medical attentionimmediately.(2) Clear lubricant passages in pins (7, 12, and 23) using compressed air.3-768
