SERVICE BRAKE AND TRANSMISSION NEUTRALIZER CONTROLS

The transmission neutralizer functions to shift transmission into N (NEUTRAL) by pressing right, left, or
both brake pedals while machine is running. Disengaging the transmission serves to increase engine speed.
This feature is desirable when raising and positioning bucket/forklift pallet forks at the same time, or when-
ever a better hydraulic response is needed.
1.
Brake Pedals.
a.
Press right, left, or both brake pedals to slow
down machine's ground speed for normal brak-
ing.
b.
With transmission neutralizer function enabled,
press right, left, or both brake pedals to interrupt
power to transmission solenoids, causing trans-
mission to shift into N (NEUTRAL). Release
brake pedal(s) to engage transmission.
c.
Service brake pressure required to neutralize
transmission may be adjusted by the operator.

Transmission Neutralizer Override Switch.
a.
The transmission neutralizer override switch
enables, disables, and sets the transmission neu-
tralizer function.
b.
Transmission neutralizer is enabled when switch
is in middle position. Transmission neutralizer
defaults to enabled position after machine is
started.
c.
Press bottom of switch to disable transmission
neutralizer. Light in switch comes on when trans-
mission neutralizer is disabled.
d.
Press top of switch to set brake pressure at which
the transmission neutralizer functions. Refer to
