PARKING BRAKE LEVER

WAR N I N G
If emergency use of parking brake is required due to service brake failure, ensure that brakes are inspected
and repaired, if necessary, before resuming machine operation. Injury or death to personnel or equipment
damage could result from improperly or non-functioning brakes.
CAU T I ON
DO NOT engage parking brake while machine is moving unless primary service brake system fails. Use of
parking brake as a service brake in normal operation will cause severe damage to brake system. If neces-
sary, have brakes repaired before operating machine.
1.
To engage parking brake, pull up on parking brake
lever. Transmission will shift to neutral. Machine will
not move. Alert indicator for parking brake, located to
right of steering column, will illuminate.
2.
To disengage parking brake, push button on end of
parking brake lever, then lower lever. Alert indicator
for parking brake will turn off.

STEERING CONTROLS

1.
Steering Wheel.
a.
Move steering wheel counterclockwise (to the
left) to steer machine to the left.
b.
Move steering wheel clockwise (to the right) to
steer machine to the right.
2.
Steering Column Tilt Lever.
a.
Pull up on steering column tilt lever and move
steering column to desired position.
b.
Release lever and steering column will remain in
set position.
