Steering Frame Lock.
a.
When disconnected and stowed, steering frame lock permits free articulation of machine.
b.
When connected between front and rear frame sections, machine will not articulate.

SECONDARY STEERING SWITCH
1.
In the event of primary steering system failure, the following will occur:
a.
Primary steering failure alert indicator will light. Action alarm will sound, if engine is running.
b.
Secondary steering electric pump will automatically come on, so that machine can be safely steered to a stop.
c.
Secondary steering alert indicator will come on when electric pump is on.
WARN I N G
Stand clear of frame articulation area when
machine is operating. There is no clearance for
personnel in this area when machine turns. Crush-
ing could occur, resulting in injury or death to per-
sonnel.
2.
Operator may press top of secondary steering switch
to test secondary steering system:
a.
With ignition on, press top of secondary steering
switch.
b.
Secondary steering electric pump can be heard

and steering wheel movement will cause
machine to articulate.
