Disengaging and Engaging Quick Coupler from/to Work Tool.
WARN I N G
Before disengaging or engaging quick
coupler to work tool, use extreme cau-
tion to ensure work tool is in a safe and
stable position before proceeding. Work
tool must NOT be loaded. All personnel
must stand clear. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury or death to
personnel or damage to equipment.
a.
If pins on quick coupler are in engaged (locked)
position, pull red safety tab back and press top of
disengages (unlocks) quick coupler pins.
b.
Disengage parking brake. Shift into reverse
while simultaneously tilting quick coupler for-
ward and backing up machine.

c.
Ensure quick coupler is lowered sufficiently
below level of hooks on work tool.
d.
Drive machine slowly forward. Align quick cou-
pler with hooks on work tool.
N OT E
If quick coupler does not engage,
inspect for debris.
e.
Slightly raise quick coupler until quick coupler
contacts hooks on work tool and work tool is
lifted up slightly. Ensure work tool is level from
side to side. Repeat if necessary.
f.
Tilt quick coupler all the way back to allow work
tool lower attaching points to rest against quick
coupler stops.
