Wipe area clean around all hydraulic connections to be opened during procedure. Contamination of
hydraulic system could result in premature failure.

Use a rag (Item 13, WP 0031 00) to remove any
foreign material from quick disconnect fittings
and protective caps.

Align groove in collar with ball and push in to connect quick disconnect fittings from MP bucket hydraulic lines to
quick disconnect fittings at quick coupler. Rotate collar to secure connection.

STORING BUCKET WITH SAFETY STANDS
Installing Safety Stands for Bucket
N OT E
Notify Unit Maintenance to fabri-
cate safety stands.
Storing bucket requires two safety
stands.
1.
Engage parking brake.
2.
Position bucket so that bucket is level with teeth on
ground.
3.
Raise bucket slightly off ground and disengage lock-
ing pin.
CAU T I ON

Disengaging bucket completely may result in damage to
equipment.
4.
Tilt bucket forward slightly until you can place safety
stands (1) between bucket and machine.
