FRONT HOUSING REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

INSTALLATION - CONTINUED
N OT E
Ensure that bottom of front housing is aligned with bottom of cylinder block.
2.
Install 13 bolts (1) that fasten front housing (2) to cylinder block (3).
3.
Install timing gears (WP 0153 00).
4.
Install engine oil pan bolts (WP 0157 00).
5.
Check oil level (WP 0025 00).
6.
Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached (TM 5-3805-290-10).
7.
Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-290-10).
8.
Check for leaks.
