FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED

REMOVAL
1.
Loosen threaded nut (1) on fuel injector nozzle (2).

2.
Remove fuel injector nozzle (2) from cylinder head (3).
N OT E
If original seat washer is not removed, projection of fuel injection nozzle will be incorrect when new
seat washer is installed.
3.
Remove and discard seat washer (4) from fuel injector
nozzle (2).

INSTALLATION
CAU T I ON
Always cap lines and hoses and/or plug openings when removing fuel injector nozzle(s) and fuel
line(s). Contaminants may enter system and cause premature failure.
1.
Thoroughly clean threads on threaded nut (1) and cylinder head (3).
2.
Install new seat washer (4) into recess in cylinder head (3).
