Check Individual Pin Retention in Socket.
a.
Verify sockets provide good retention for pins. Insert a new pin into each socket one at a time in order to check for
a good grip on pin by socket.
b.
Expected Result. Sockets provide good retention for new pin.

If terminals are OK, go to step 6.
(2)
If terminals are damaged, use the crimping tool to replace damaged terminals. Verify repair eliminates
problem.
