1. Remove and discard all tiedown straps (Figure 14, Item 2) from door switch cable (Figure 14, Item 1).
2. Disconnect electrical connector (Figure 14, Item 3) from door switch (Figure 14, Item 1).
3. Remove two bolts (Figure 14, Item 4), washers (Figure 14, Item 5), nuts (Figure 14, Item 6), star washers
(Figure 14, Item 7), washers (Figure 14, Item 8), and door switch (Figure 14, Item 1) from door frame.

Solvent cleaning compound MIL-PRF-680 Type III is an environmentally compliant and
low toxic material. However, it may be irritating to the eyes and skin. Use protective gloves
and goggles. Use in well-ventilated areas. Keep away from open flames and other

1. Clean all parts (except rubber and plastic surfaces) and mating surfaces with solvent cleaning compound.
