FUEL PRIME PUMP AND BASE REMOVAL CONTINUED
NOTE
Cap or plug fittings and ports during removal.
Tag and mark fittings and note orientation to aid installation.
Use container to catch any fluid that may drain from system. Dispose of fluid IAW local
policy and ordinances. Ensure all spills are cleaned up.
4. Loosen jam nut (Figure 5, Item 11) and remove elbow fitting (Figure 5, Item 1) and O-ring (Figure 5, Item 2)
from adapter (Figure 5, Item 3). Discard O-ring.
5. Remove adapter (Figure 5, Item 3) and O-ring (Figure 5, Item 4) from fuel prime pump base (Figure 5, Item 7).
Discard O-ring.
6. Loosen jam nut (Figure 5, Item 10) and remove elbow fitting (Figure 5, Item 9) and O-ring (Figure 5, Item 8)
from fuel prime pump base (Figure 5, Item 7). Discard O-ring.
7. Disconnect rear frame wire harness connector (Figure 5, Item 6) from fuel prime pump (Figure 5, Item 5).
