17. Position upper cover (Figure 18, Item 1) on machine.
18. Connect machine wiring harness connector (Figure 18, Item 3) to turn signal indicator connector
(Figure 18, Item 2).

NOTE
Turn signal switch is installed between upper and lower covers.
Install cover screws as noted during removal.
19. Position turn signal switch (Figure 19, Item 3), upper cover (Figure 19, Item 1), and lower cover (Figure 19,
Item 4) on steering column (Figure 19, Item 5).
20. Install two screws (Figure 19, Item 2) on upper cover (Figure 19, Item 1) and lower cover (Figure 19, Item 4).
