DRAIN REAR DRIVE AXLE HOUSING OIL

WARNING
Allow hydraulic system to cool before performing procedure. Hot metal parts can cause
severe burns. Wear eye, hand, and skin protection when working with heated parts.
Hydraulic oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Rear drive axle housing holds 15 qt (14.2 L).
1. Raise and support machine on trestles.
2. Position drain pan under rear drive axle housing (Figure 3, Item 3).
3. Remove drain plug (Figure 3, Item 4), O-ring (Figure 3, Item 5), fill plug (Figure 3, Item 1), and O-ring (Figure 3,
Item 2) from rear drive axle housing (Figure 3, Item 3). Allow rear drive axle housing oil to drain. Dispose of oil
IAW unit SOP. Discard O-rings.
