FILL REAR DRIVE AXLE HOUSING OIL CONTINUED
4. Install new O-ring (Figure 6, Item 5) and drain plug (Figure 6, Item 4) in rear drive axle housing
(Figure 6, Item 3).
5. Add 16 oz (0.47 L) of axle oil additive.
NOTE
Rear axle capacity is 15 qt (14.2 L).
6. Add rear drive axle housing oil to rear drive axle housing (Figure 6, Item 3).
7. Install new O-ring (Figure 6, Item 2) and fill plug (Figure 6, Item 1) in rear drive axle housing (Figure 6, Item 3).
8. Apply parking brake (TM 5-2420-231-10).
9. Remove trestles and lower machine to the ground.
