b. If multimeter indicates less than 18 volts, go to step 6 below.
Step 6. Connect multimeter between positive post on rear battery and starter
solenoid MTR terminal.

Multimeter should indicate 0.5 volt or less .
a. If multimeter indicates more than 0.5 volt, go to step 7 below.
b. If multimeter indicates 0.5 volt or less, go to step 8 below.
