Step 2.
Remove engine right side panels (page 9-14).
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean
p a r t s

i n a w e l l v e n t i l a t e d a r e a . A v o i d c o n t a ct
w i t h s k i n,
e y e s a n d c l o t h e s a n d d o n ut
breathe vapors. Do not use near open flame
o r e x c e s s i v e h e a t a n d d o n ’ t s m o k e w h e n
u s i n g i t .
F a i l u r e t o d o s o c o u l d c a u se
serious injury. If you become dizzy while
u s i n g c l e a n i n g s o l v e n t , g e t f r e s h a i r a nd
m e d i c a l a t t e n t i o n i m m e d i a t e l y . I f c o n t a ct
w i t h s k i n o r c l o t h e s i s m a d e , f l u s h w i t h
l a r g e a m o u n t s o f w a t e r . I f c o n t a c t w i th
eyes is made, wash eyes with water and get
medical aid immediately.
D i r t o r o t h e r f o r e i g n m a t t e r c a n d a m a g e
fuel injection pump and fuel injectors and
c a u s e e n g i n e s t a r t i n g p r o b l e m s . D i r t a n d
f o r e i g n m a t t e r c a n e n t e r f u e l l i n e s w h en
you disconnect them. To prevent this from
h a p p e n i n g , c l e a n a l l f i t t i n g s , p l u g s , a n d
f u e l l i n e c o n n e c t i o n s b e f o r e b r e a k i n g
c o n n e c t i o n s u s i n g c l e a n c l o t h s m o i s t e n e d
with cleaning solvent P-D-680.
Remove plug from elbow installed
in fuel injection pump.
Install adapter (TK item 20) in
elbow port from which plug was
removed.
I n s t a l l p r e s s u r e t r a n s d u c er
(blue stripe, TK item 17) in
adapter (TK item 20).
