c. Transmission Pump and Oil Filter and Lines.
(1) Transmission Pump.
This task covers inspection of transmission pump.
MATERIALS/PARTS: Clean cloths (Appendix C, item 1)
NOTE
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE: Engine right side panels removed (page 9-14).
INSPECTION
(a) Check for oil leakage between hydraulic pump and transmission pump
mounting surfaces. If oil leakage observed, notify direct support
maintenance.
(b) Check for oil leakage between transmission pump and pump cover mounting
surfaces. If oil leakage observed, notify direct support maintenance.
(c) Check for oil leakage between pump cover and transmission mounting
s u r f a c e s ; i f o i l l e a k a g e i s o b s e r v e d, n o t i f y d i r e c t s u p p o r t m a i n t e n a n c e .
