Check to verify that notch on con-
t r o l s h a f t s k i r t i s c e n t e r e d on
s t o p. If notch is not centered,
loosen two nuts (13) on clamp
assembly (14) and support clamp
assembly. Have assistant turn
c o n t r o l s h a f t u n t i l n o t c h is
centered on stop. Adjust clamp
assembly (14) so that spring (15)
is compressed to a length of 1.4
to 1.6 inches; tighten two nuts
(13) securely.
Reinstall engine left side panels
(page 9-17).
