Remove output flange (4) using
puller.
Using puller, remove and dis-
card oil seal (5) from rear of
transmission housing.
Using screwdriver, remove re-
taining ring (6).
Using soft hammer, drive output
shaft (8) toward rear of trans-
mission housing.

8. Output shaft
9. Transfer gear
10. Spacer
11. Oil seal
12. Bearing
13. Plug
Remove output shaft (8) and bearing (7) as an assembly from rear of
transmission housing. Transfer gear (9) and spacer (10) will fall to bot-
tom of transmission housing as output shaft is removed.
