Cap or plug openings to prevent contamination, and positionelectrical leads, cables, and hoses away from engine as you disconnectthem.(a) Remove engine hoods and side supports (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).(b) Remove radiator and radiator guard (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).(c) Disconnect electrical lead from water temperature sending unit (refer toTM 5-3805-262-20).(d) Remove heater hoses and clamps from engine (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).(e) Disconnect accelerator cable and fuel shutoff cable from fuel injectionpump governor; remove bracket with cables from engine (refer to TM5-3805-262-20).(f) Disconnect air compressor governor hose from top of air reservoir (referto TM 5-3805-262-20).(g) Disconnect air supply hose from air compressor (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20) .3-26
