Carbon removing compound is extremely toxic and caustic. Wear protective
goggles and gloves and use only in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact
with skin, eyes, and clothes and don't breathe vapors. Failure to do so
could cause serious injury. If you become dizzy while using carbon
removing compound, get fresh air and medical attention immediately. If
contact with skin or clothes is made, remove clothing and wash affected
skin area with large amounts of water. If eye contact is made, flush

nut, and nozzle tip using carbon re-
moving compound to remove external
dirt, grease, and carbon deposits.
Use a brass wire brush to remove hard
deposits from cap nut, nozzle body,
and outside diameter of nozzle tip.
NOTE
Refer to operating instructions provided with test stand to make sure
you follow correct test stand procedures. Your test stand instructions
may differ from instructions provided below.

Prepare test stand as follows:
Open gage valve.
Fill supply cup with calibrating
Work test stand pump handle to
remove air from system; to
ventilate system, open vent
screw located directly behind
lower discharge fitting.
Connect fuel injector to upper
discharge fitting using test
stand adapters and elbow.
