LEGEND
Watch fuel injection pump camshaft lobe while assistant rotates engine
using wrench on crankshaft pulley capscrew. Tell assistant
ing when camshaft lobe is at lowest position.
Position new gasket (4) and feed pump (3) on studs (5).
Install and tighten three lock washers (2) and nuts (l).
NOTE
Refer to TM 5-3805-262-20 for following four steps.
Connect fittings, fuel supply hose, and fuel filter tubing
pump .
Bleed air from fuel system.
Install engine oil, if necessary.
Install engine right rear side panel.
