If necessary, clean outside of plunger (8) using abrasive cloth. Be sure
all grit is removed from plunger by wiping with clean cloth moistened
with cleaning solvent P-D-680.
(2) Clean all parts using cleaning solvent P-D-680; dry using clean cloths.
(3) Remove any metal particles remaining on magnet (9).

Inspect all other parts for damage, wear, corrosion, or cracks.
