To decrease movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) counterclockwise on bucket tilt control link rod (6). To increase movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) clockwise. Tighten nut (8) against clevis (9). If necessary, remove cotter pin (1) and clevis pin (2) securing bucket tilt control link rod (6) clevis to control valve assembly bucket tilt spool. To decrease movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) counterclockwise on bucket tilt control link rod (6). To increase movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) clockwise. Tighten nut (8) against clevis (9). Position bucket tilt control link rod (6) clevis (9) between bellcrank and control valve bucket tilt spool. Install clevis pins (2 and 4) and cotter pins (1 and 3). Repeat steps m through p above to check adjustment. Position machinist’s rule on control valve body next to clam spool. Using end of clevis as a reference point, tell assistant to place CLAM con- trol lever in OPEN position while you measure travel of clevis. Clevis should travel approximately 0.44 inch. Tell assistant to place CLAM control lever in NEUT. position then move it to CLOSE position while you measure travel of clevis from NEWT. to CLOSE position. Clevis should travel approximately 0.44 inch. If dimensions obtained above are okay, bend all cotter pins (1 and 3) otherwise go to step ab below. Remove cotter pin (3) and clevis pin (4) securing clam control link rod (7) clevis (9) to bellcrank. To decrease movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) counterclockwise on clam control link rod (7). To increase movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) clockwise. Tighten nut (8) against clevis (9). If necessary, remove cotter pin (1) and clevis pin (2) securing clam con- trol link rod (7) clevis to control valve assembly clam spool. To decrease movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) counterclockwise on clam control link rod (7). To increase movement, loosen nut (8) and turn clevis (9) clockwise. Tighten nut (8) against clevis (9). Position clam control link rod (7) clevis (9) between bellcrank and con- trol valve clam spool. Install clevis pins (2 and 4) and cotter pins (1 and 3). Repeat steps x through aa above to check adjustment. 3-720
