Idle engine and continue to operate portable filter for 10 minutes; use
tube in fill cap opening to mix oil in hydraulic reservoir during this
period.
Set portable filter switch to OFF position. Turn off engine.
Remove tube from hydraulic reservoir fill cap opening.
Close valve at drain valve port.
Disconnect inlet hose of portable filter from valve at drain plug port.
Connect vacuum pump to hydraulic reservoir fill cap opening and start
vacuum pump.
Remove valve from hydraulic reservoir drain plug port and install drain
plug (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Stop vacuum pump and remove vacuum pump from fill cap opening. Install
fill cap on hydraulic reservoir (refer to TM 5-3805-262-20).
Replace hydraulic filter and steering hydraulic filter (refer to TM
5-3805-262-20).
